Located about a four-hour drive from Deuce Knight’s hometown of Lucedale, Miss., Auburn welcomed the top-30 recruit three times for recent visits.

If all goes to plan, Haralson will enroll at Notre Dame with a top-10 recruiting class, joining a deep roster that includes juniors Markus Burton and Braeden Shrewsberry, plus a three-man sophomore class that includes top-100 prospect Sir Mohammed. If Shrewberry’s second season is a step forward, his third with Haralson could be a leap.

Knight was committed to the Irish for a year and made upwards of 10 trips up to South Bend before making the decision to play closer to home.
