CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A death investigation is underway in Cary after authorities found a body inside a home on Smokemont Drive. It happened around 3 p.m. but officers remained active in the Laurel Park neighborhood for several hours.

The Cary Police Department is investigating the deaths of three people at a home on the 100 block of Smokemont Drive. Officers sent to the home around 3 p.m. Monday found the bodies of Erica Alsye Holton, 54, Xavier Holton, 19, and Aminah Michelle Guy, also 19, according to a news release.
