Michigan’s softball team was on the losing end of a slugfest in an NCAA regional elimination game Saturday night, falling 10-8 to Central Florida in Austin, Texas.

The Wolverines went back and forth with UCF but came up short in a 10-8 loss in the Austin Regional. Earlier in the day, Michigan lost to host Texas, 16-4, in five innings to put the Wolverines in the loser's bracket. They beat UCF in their regional opener on Friday.
