Veilguard, for all its faults, is BioWare’s best effort at RPG world-building to date, even if you have to meet the developer halfway to see it

These are some of the worst Mage skills that aren't worth using in Dragon Age The Veilguard. Veilguard is a game that players are meant to make their own, choosing a lineage and class as well as a faction background to make their Rook unique.

The Veilguard is set ten years after Inquisition and picks up as Solas, the companion turned bad from Inquisition, is tracked down by Varric before he can commit to his world-ending plan - much like the rest of the Dragon Age series, it's pretty high-stakes stuff straight out the gate.
