The Apuseni Mountains (Romanian: Munții Apuseni, lit. transl. 'Western Mountains'; Hungarian: Erdélyi-középhegység, transl. 'Transylvanian Mountains') is a mountain range in Transylvania, Romania, which belongs to the Western Romanian Carpathians.
