Alex's lovably dorky demeanour is the thing that sets the tone for the show. His awkward, passive-aggressive attitude that he takes during tasks is much harder to do than it looks. And over the years, as he and Greg have become actual friends, there's an added heartwarming element there that you wouldn't have if Alex wasn't just lovable.

Alex Horne himself is the main reason for my enjoying the show and I'm certain this the case for most people. I find it hard to get a read on him at times though and, because of this, I enjoy the snippets where he seems/sounds genuinely annoyed by the contestants/events of the tasks.

Jan 27, 2024 · Bridget is a little tetchy and uncoordinated under pressure. Alex is under pressure to get a broadcast-worthy attempt out of every contestant. It’s honestly surprising and a testament to the good nature of the show (with the help of editing of course) that we don’t see more genuine grumpiness from both the contestants and Alex.

Feb 20, 2021 · Horne's ears. In s7 ep7 Alex H has his ears stretched but in ep8 they look back to normal. I had a much smaller ear stretch and it's never been the same since, It looks like a real stretched ear so what is this, some kind of wizardry?

Scary to hear about him getting hurt; Little Alex Horne is an international treasure and must be protected at all costs! At least it sounds like Alex is in good spirits and it didn't take too much out of him, with him out and about doing shows.
